You can designate any place for breakfast nook, however, the best thing is to design it within or beside kitchen. If you have had chance to visit old homes, you would have seen nooks built on larger separate sections to offer lot of room for other leisure activities. Usually a big table is placed in the breakfast nook where children can do their homework and mother can enjoy the morning coffee.
