Cards known as baby announcements are those which are sent out to family members, the office, friends, and neighbors. Baby announcements come in a great many styles and colors. Some will feature a picture of the new baby, making them a keepsake all will love. When sending out baby announcements, there are no hard and fast rules of etiquette. However, the announcements should be sent out within two weeks of the baby's birth.
