My thoughts on portable scanners
Portable scanner of the sheetfed variety is also particularly useful if you typically have to scan several documents at a time. The good news is that most of these devices don't weigh all that much. Easy to carry in your luggage or overnight bag, a portable scanner is the ideal business tool for those long trips on the road. Of course there is a drawback to all this portability, and the main one would have to be with regard to image quality. All things being equal, a larger desktop scanner will give you a much clearer image than a portable scanner.
