My little rant on outdoor fire pits

The last thing you want to deal with in the midst of having a good time with friends and family is an accident! It may also be helpful to have someone from your utility company come over and check your property for you. Outdoor fire pits are ideally placed where there is no risk of nearby structures causing a fire. This would include roofs, awnings, shrubbery and trees. You would be surprised at how fast certain materials catch fire, so you will want to place your outdoor fire pits in as safe a location as possible. If you are planning on building large outdoor fire pits, you can speed up the process considerably by renting a backhoe.
