Discount real estate brokerage and the things to learn

When a seller and a real estate agent signs a listing agreement, the broker is typically the only one who can market the property in question. In exchange for getting buyers interested in the property, the seller pays a real estate commission to the broker. This fee is usually calculated as a percentage of the selling price of the home, and is divided between the listing broker and the broker who actually finds the buyer. What all this means is that the real estate commission actually comes out of the pocket of the property seller. The final selling price of the property already includes this real estate commission.
