Christmas birth Things to consider
Etiquette dictates that formal birth announcements be sent to family and friends by regular postal service delivery, not email. Who wants to hang an email birth announcement on their refrigerator, anyway. Birth announcements should go to family and close friends and friends of the happy grandparents and to anyone who has already sent a gift to the new parents. The information on birth announcements should include, at minimum, the names of the baby and proud parents and siblings (if any) and baby birth statistics like length, weight and birth date. Etiquette also dictates that birth announcements be sent any time up to six months following birth, so you will have time after your baby arrives to finalize and send them out.
